Hi everyone! I hope you’re doing great!! To give a little update things are changing around a bit. Reshapedjackie.com is staying where it is, however the ‘ReshapedNation’ blog site is going away…for now, until more of you decide to start doing some blogging about your weight loss & the Reshape the Nation program. SO – I will do my best to keep you up to date on my weight loss & comments on the Reshape the Nation program! Keep coming to my blog to see how things are going & where I’m going!!
I know I’ve been a slacker for a while now, but I’m starting ‘over’ to an extent…or maybe just picking up where I left off to drop more weight. I checked out Chris Powell’s Reshape the Nation website today and it told me that it’s a Lo day (no carbs) and of course, I had already eaten my breakfast before looking at this – so of course I was eating carbs today…I will eventually get back on track for when there is a hi day (with carbs, without fat) and when there is a low day! But until then, I will be eating better.
SO – I was planning to go grocery shopping today, but holy cow – eating healthy is crazy expensive!! I was also planning to print up a bunch of coupons – I turned on my computer, pulled up the RTN website and went to the week’s shopping list. Then I pulled up a coupon website so I could download some coupons I would need to get the groceries. I pushed the ‘print’ button on the shopping list and then found out that I no longer have ink in my printer
so My good idea…turned out to be nothin’ I’ll need to get more ink so I can get the coupon’s and then the needed groceries! Hey, it was a good idea!
But I do have some groceries in the house! and I made some chicken, rice, green beans, and black beans to have for a few meals this week. Making ‘home made’ burritos, will be good & healthier than getting them at a place like Taco Bell or Moe’s – of course I do have a coupon for a free Moe’s Entree for my birthday & I’ll more than likely get a ‘Streaker’ which is a burrito, minus the tortilla! I’m working on being more conscious of what I’m eating and am thinking about counting calories in order to better my chances of more weight loss.
Let’s see…anything else – right now, I don’t think so. But I will let you know how I’m doing and promise to post at least 1 time per week! Thank you for reading & I’m looking forward to getting back on the wagon and continuing this journey! Remember – no matter what your body size or type – we were all made the way we are for a reason! If any of us want to lose weight it just takes some willpower, determination and the desire to change!
Happy reading,

Happy New Year!! I know, I know…it’s January 11th and it’s taken me a while to really get back into blogging. But here I am!
The Reshape The Nation program has officially launched, so I’m excited about this! I’m still trying to get the hang of hi/low days and what I need to eat when - not to mention, the fact that eating healthy and groceries are crazy expensive! What’s the deal?!?!…you can either pay the crazy prices to eat out all of the time or pay the crazy prices to buy groceries and hope that they last a couple of weeks! So, I’m trying for the buying groceries and not eating out as often.
Today, I had oatmeal for breakfast (I should have added a protein drink or eggs) I will keep that in mind for tomorrow. I didn’t eat a mid-morning snack, although I have a packet of tuna sitting on the shelf next to me. I had chili for lunch, which I brought from home and it was yummy…then I had more chili for a midish-afternoon snack! I think I’m going to make burrito’s for dinner tonight and for lunch tomorrow!
I made two resolutions this year…(1) to become healthy – I decided not to say lose weight, because that is only a small component to the overall…getting healthy. and (2) to re-connect with ‘long lost friends’ because who doesn’t need friends!! I plan to work out this evening - a boxing/abs class. I’m GOING to get in shape this year & look good for my brother’s wedding!!
I hope everyone is doing great and that you’ve made resolutions you can stick with!! I’m excited about sharing my progress with you!
Thanks for reading,

Hi everyone!! I hope you’re all doing great and are ready for Christmas (or whatever the holiday is that you celebrate) – Chanukah ended last Friday while I was in New York. Sorry for not blogging while I was there…but it cost a little bit to get onto the internet.
It was a great weekend full of family and friends. On Friday night, we walked from the hotel on Time Square to Rockafella Centre – it was a nice COLD walk, but a lot of fun. On our way back to the hotel, we stopped at a diner for dinner.
On Saturday, we went to an Italian type restaurant in NYC we had rolls, 3 different types of salad, and 3 different types of Pizza. We also had cake and a friend made white chocolate covered pretzel sticks….so I tried all three types of salads and two types of the pizza..and I had 4 or 5 slices and they were all very good! Then we went to the candy store across the street and I got some chocolate covered raisins!! Came home on Sunday and I’ve been eating alright since coming back.
I need to really focus on the program and start working out more – to keep that goal in sight. I will also be blogging more often – it will make me happier and continue to hold me responsible.
I hope you all have a great day & happy reading!

Another week has come and gone and I sit here trying to figure out what I can do in order to focus and get back on track!
I’ve done alright this week – but again, I have not taken the StaxSystem with me to work everyday…and I know that I need to. Today we had our “Christmas dinner” at work and there was lasagna, a cajun dish, chips & dip, and lots of dessert. It was good and I had a sampling of everything…but it was too much! I’m trying to focus on the day to day rather than the big picture (but keeping my overall goal in mind) in order to make the program and my diet in general work. If I look too far ahead, I know I won’t be able to do it – so I am going to do it this way.
I am also going to work out more than I have been this week. I missed Monday because I had a home visit for work, which lasted until 7:00 and I didn’t get home until 8:00. Tuesday, I didn’t get up early enough to walk Harley (and it was kinda rainy) and then worked late. But I did work out tonight, I used some of the machines at the gym…which I’m happy I was able to do because I slipped at work today on carpet gule…if you can avoid that experience…I totally recommend it – because it was NOT any fun. So, I wasn’t sure if working out would be a good idea…but it was fun and it felt good! Tomorrow I’m planning to do the BodyPump class, which I’m really looking forward to!
This weekend, I’m going to New York…which will be a lot of fun and I’m taking my netbook with me & plan to blog about what I’m doing and eating. And I plan to do a LOT of walking because we’ll be staying in the city. Oh, and I did lose another pound this week…so I’ve lost a total of 12 lbs since beginning the program!!!
I hope everyone is doing great! Happy reading
